The Hospice Bereavement Coordinator is a member of the Interdisciplinary team and is responsible for developing, implementing and supervising the bereavement program and for the delivery of related services.
Bachelors Degree in Social Work (BSW) from an accredited School of social work and must be licensed by the State of Indiana or be in process of applying. Or must have a Masters Degree from an accredited seminary with CPE training.
Masters in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited school of social work. Or, Masters of Divinity with specialization in Pastoral Care & Counseling.
One year of social work experience with some experience in grief & loss counsel. Or, one unit CPE training with some experience in grief & loss counsel.
2-4 years experience in grief counseling.
LSW or equivalent for discipline.
LSW, LCSW, ACSW, Accredited chaplain
with full four units of CPE training.
